A thousand kisses deep

Hi to all everywhere
After a journey of more than 48 hours in the train we arrived yesterday in Chengannur, in the province of Kerala. The south of India.
The average temperature is around 30 degrees here.
The next ten days we will be attending a vipassana meditation course.
So our best wishes to all everywhere for christmas and new year because we won`t be able to go on the internet, nor to speak in general!
A different way to start the new year...

After those ten days Maaike will be attending a 4 week-yogacourse in Mysore and Laura will travel a few weeks with a friend of hers through India.

I wish you all the best and will be delighted and enlightened to speak to you again in ten days.

Maaike lief.
vanwege Kerst in één ruk je hele blog gelezen. Vaya con dios, schat. Nu je eventjes niet bereikbaar bent is er een lege plek om er hartelijke, warme wensen in neer te droppen voor 2010, vanuit 1020, jou wel bekend.

Nos meilleurs voeux pour cette fin d'annee, la meditation, le yoga et la suite du voyage..

Na de meditatie, de recreatie : "Van Vlees en Bloed" heeft de "H van Humo" gekregen. Denk dààr maar eens over na. Maar je wist het natuurlijk al, nee ? Hoedanook : hartelijk gefeliciteerd Maaike !

why and how - a journey

You don't know what will come because you didn't plan it.
You don't know who you'll meet 'cause you never can.
You only have the confidence that it'll be allright. How,you don't know.
You meet restlessness, impatience, yourself, yourself in others. But also a new peace.
You pull up boundaries. Not out of fear, you just meet them. They're being crossed by people and situations. Sometimes you think until here and not furhter.
You make decisions and you live them.
You walk and your feet walk alone, your head follows and that is so good.
You're not clinging on. Not to people not to things not to thinking. You continue, you look.
You see all the little things that you didn't see before 'cause you were looking for something big.
You breathe and you look.
Where you would normally walk on, you hold still. Even for two seconds longer. You see what happens next.
And fear you meet, fear's always somewhere. You look at it for two seconds longer than before. You see what happens next.
Two eyes, you look at them for two seconds longer than before. You see...
There are no endings, no middles, no beginnings
The day is maybe friday, maybe. Tuesday. 12 pm because of the sun.
Sometimes a Spanish man wants to talk to you all the time. Also that you deal with.
Sometimes it's not going like you want it to go. Also that you deal with.
Sometimes you miss home.
You realise that you're happy. Nothing more.
